Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
uses a magnetic field and radio waves to produce pictures and does not use radiation.

MRI provides detailed images in any plane through the body and is particularly good for looking at the brain, spine, pelvis and extremities/joints (shoulders & knees, etc.) as well as looking at cerebral blood vessels and carotid arteries utilizing MRA techniques. This is the only Short Bore High Field magnet in Cumberland County.
