MR exams are used when people are ill or injured, or when a physician suspects a medical problem that is not easily detectable from a conventional physical examination. The GE Signa HDxt 1.5T MR system non-invasively assists physicians in the diagnosis of a variety of anatomical areas, such as the head, abdomen and chest, including detailed imaging of the vascular system and major organs.

What is the difference between an Open MRI and a High Field MRI?
An open MRI is designed to reduce the chance of claustrophobia, yet the low field magnet often reduces the quality and types of examinations that can be performed. CDI’s High Field Short Bore MRI utilizes a much stronger magnet, enabling high resolution images, more detailed studies and allows for shorter scan times.
